Mark Halawa

Mark is a dynamic speaker who grasps the attention of all audiences with his unique life journey. 

Mark was born and raised in Kuwait, to a Palestinian-Refugee Muslim family.

After immigrating to Canada with his family, Mark attended the University of Western Ontario where he met with Dr. Yitzchak Bloch zt”l; a religious Jew serving as a Professor of Philosophy.

In the course of their conversation, Mark made mention that his maternal grandmother was born Jewish, met and married a Jordanian soldier, ran off to Nablus and converted to Islam.

Little did he know, his life journey was about to take the most unexpected turn..

Mordechai (Mark) Halawa currently lives with his wife and two daughters in Israel.
